INITIATIVES
Our work is divided into 4 main programs that are intertwined:
STAY INFORMED
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
We carry out activities with school groups, as well as with children who show interest in socio-environmental issues.
We implement formal sessions with schools, visits and dynamic activities at the Community Center, provision of school gardens, among other activities
We support the community and its members to integrate alternatives for waste management. We have carried out workshops, installation and monitoring of composts in the homes of various families, as well as permaculture workshops in general. For several years now we have maintained neighborhood containers to collect plastic containers and direct these materials to their best use.
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
We accompany families in learning and managing food self-production processes from home. We also work with conscious nutrition issues. We have a Family Gardens program, where we support vulnerable families with infrastructure and support for the production of vegetables, chicken and eggs. We seek to raise awareness among large producers to change to more environmentally friendly production mechanisms, which also consider the production of food offered in the community itself.
FOOD SOVEREIGNTY
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We seek to participate in relevant social actions that have some socio-environmental impact. Likewise, we encourage the population to participate in actions that promote environmental and personal health and improve the general quality of life of the community. We manage and organize environmental events, cleaning campaigns, cultural exchanges, etc.
